Pine Tree House is an absolute must-visit for anyone craving delicious Korean cuisine in a cozy atmosphere. Our experience here was nothing short of extraordinary, thanks to the incredible flavors, attentive service, and charming ambiance. A great family style restaurant with authentic korean food at a reasonable price. We visited this restaurant in the evening. It was not too busy and we were seated immediately. The interior is very clean, with wooden tables and chairs, with tables separated by walls so each group has slightly better privacy. It is very minimal in terms of style but gives it a simple, aesthetic vibe. Our waitress was very kind and tried to help us understand the menu as best as we can. She was very patient and polite. The side dishes were all very flavorful and additional banchan can be provided upon request. The Mackerel was flavorful and not too salty and went well with the tofu beancurd soup. It was hearty and came with rice as well. It was an overall satisfying meal. We tried the marinated crab which was definitely a dish worth trying. It contains crab, onions, and pepper in a salty sweet spicy sauce that is unique. The dishes are good portioned and you get rice and side dishes, so overall it is worth the price. This may be the best korean food in the area. I would love to visit again

Definitely recommend this place! Had the most banchan dishes that I've ever had at a Korean restaurant. Ordered a japchae and a seafood tofu soup and it was delicious. The dishes came loaded with ingredients and full of flavor. The ladies working there were super nice and friendly and the whole restaurant felt very comforting and homey. Definitely want to come back and try other foods here.

Of the Korean restaurants I've tried in the Sacramento area, Pine Tree House has one of the most varied & abundant selection of banchan (side dishes). Their kimchi is well-balanced and my favorite of the 12 dishes served was the eggplant one, a dish I haven't seen anywhere else. As far as main dishes, everything we ordered was tasty. My only critique would be the portion sizes are small for the price, especially in comparison to nearby Korean spots. But, I suppose this can be justified with the 12 banchan dishes that came with it... Overall, a solid spot with great service. Would return and recommend.

Came here on recommendation of a friend that recently had the raw marinated crab, and I had to try! I came with my cousin on a Tuesday around 4 and it wasn't busy at all, traffic getting there is just rough. Ordering was quick and easy and the lady who took our order was super friendly and approachable. The place itself is nice, and each table was separated by a little wall for privacy which was nice! We ordered the spicy rice cakes (tteokbokki), kimchi friend rice, and of course, raw marinated crabs. Everything came out one by one relatively quickly and we were able to dig into the fried rice while waiting for the crab. The fried rice was super buttery and a bit on the plain side but SO WORTH to cut from the rich and savory flavors of the rice cakes and crab. Also recommend squeezing the crab meat ONTO the rice and eating it together! Overall, this was a hidden gem for me and I'd love to come back to try the samgyetang and a cold noodle!

Legit one of the best Korean restaurants I have eaten at in the last few years and tops 95% off all the Korean spots in San Diego. Everything was stellar from the banchan (the eggplant one was my fav) to the soybean soup. Tofu and soybean soup is a simple soup, but you'd be shocked how many restaurants don't get this dish right. This place is awesome: the varied menu! the authentic flavors! the chill atmosphere! I enjoyed this new find in Sacramento and found it to be reasonably priced. Note that service is a little slow, but it was worth the wait. They leave the plastic water jugs on your table so you don't need to ask for refills all the time. The restrooms are clean. Also they have a keypad on the restroom so you have to ask the ladies for the #.

I've been coming to Pine Tree regularly for about two years now so this review is long overdue. What I can confidently say after all this time is that Pine Tree House never misses. It's a small restaurant with a family run vibe and the waitresses are always super friendly and nice. It truly feels like you're walking into a family member's home to eat. I've brought family, friends, and my partner to this spot and everyone was genuinely impressed. Everything is good here and I mean it. Although everything is super good, here are my stand out favorites: Bossam - literally the best that I've ever had and it comes with raw oyster! If you don't want raw oyster you can tell them you don't want it and they'll give you more pork belly instead Ossam bulgogi - they'll bring out a large hot plate to cook the food on a gas stove and when it's done cooking and after you've eaten some of the food, they'll toss in rice to mix with the left overs to make fried rice. I've never had anything like it before but it's super yummy. Kimchi fried rice - super simple but really delicious. I can recommended this to anyone who isn't feeling very adventurous. Kimichi/seafood pancake - really nice and crispy, flavorful, and a LARGE portion. Aside from the main dishes, the side dishes are phenomenal. You can taste quality and see the care they put into making them and I believe they won an award from it as well. Pine Tree House is my go to Korean spot for the Sacramento and NorCal area and I'm confident it'll continue to be so for years to come.

Found Pine Tree House off of Yelp for some Korean food! Sat immediately for dinner. We ordered: -seafood pancake: good size, a bit heavier on the batter -kimchi tofu stew: standard. Asked for extra spicy but still wasn't spicy -galbi: meat was cooked well. On the pricier side. Definitely needs onions to pair on the hot plate. -no hite (on the menu), got terra for beer Sides were all good. Staff was friendly to refill. Wasn't the biggest fan of their steamed egg, was a bit discolored and had a weirder texture. Easy parking in the plaza. Good spot for your Korean cravings!
